The brief is to design around an existing structural column displayed prominently in the centre of the existing hotel in Oberoi Group of Hotels in Mumbai. The design idea is to expose the structural column rather than trying to hide it. Our role here has been in primarily detailing the fluid parametric brass column to send to the site for construction along with interior detailing of the wall cladding and lighting details.
